Through extensive travel to developing countries, Suzanne gained interest in transport animals and subsequently became Programmes Manager (companion animal unit) at WSPA managing working equine projects.

Holding Equine Behaviour Qualification (EBQ) and various other post graduate certificates in the field of animal behaviour, research, adult education and community outreach, Suzanne now provides a broad range of consultancy work within the UK and abroad.

Participatory approaches (working within communities to lead to a change in the way people manage and care for their animals) is a key element of Suzanne's work and in 2006 Suzanne founded 'Learning About Animals', providing consultancy for various animal welfare projects and specialising in equine behaviour.

Miranda is a keen supporter of LLA educational events for pet owners and professionals where attendees can learn and share information and experiences.
